All Heroic Scale Female Heads LARGE sets available again at 15% OFF!

 by statuesqueminiatures on 28 Feb 2020 |

I'm happy to say that all the Heroic Scale Female Heads LARGE range is now in stock and available to buy once again. To celebrate, the range is 15% OFF until Sunday the 15th of March. Please note, the Heroic Scale Female Heads LARGE range (SMA301-307) was previously known simply as Heroic Scale Female Heads. I'll have the full Heroic Scale Female Heads SMALL range back on sale soon too, hopefully by next Friday. They will all be on sale at 15% OFF until Sunday the 15th of March as well. Please note, the Heroic Scale Female Heads SMALL range (SMA351-357) was previously known as Heroic Scale Female Heads Narrow. I hope to have the missing Fine Scale Female Heads and Pulp Scale Female Heads back on sale later in March. I won't be able to post any orders on Monday 2nd of March as I'm away for the day, so orders from over the weekend may not be posted until Tuesday or Wednesday.

Availability of the Heroic Scale Female Heads ranges

You may have noticed that some of the Heroic Scale Heads sets have been unavailable for a while. That should be rectified soon, with some sets hopefully available again before the end of the month and the rest following in March. I'll be remoulding the entire existing range, but I've been waiting on a new mould can which is finally ready to ship. Once it arrives, it'll be non-stop mould making for me! I've also taken the opportunity to rename the Heroic Scale ranges LARGE and SMALL: Heroic Scale Female Heads LARGE = Heroic Scale Female Heads of old. Heroic Scale Female Heads SMALL = Heroic Scale Female Heads NARROW. I feel this better reflects the uses of the heads. When the first Heroic Scale Female Heads set (now classed as LARGE) was released, there were very few multipart plastic female figures on sale. As such, those heads were sized for use primarily with male bodies. The later Heroic Scale Female Heads Narrow range (now classed as SMALL) was specifically designed for female figures. The name changes hopefully means that the larger heads are not viewed as the default, when the customer may be intending to use female bodies. Once I've got through remoulding the Heroic Scale ranges, I'll make a start on getting the Fine Scale and Pulp Scale ranges in production again. I know some of you have been waiting patiently to purchase those for a very, very long time! All this also means that the Left at the Bottom of the Garden Kickstarter has been pushed back to the end of March. I like to get all moulds made prior to launching a Kickstarter, to minimise risk of delays, so I need the new mould can to do this. Hopefully it will be worth the wait! Please note, any set of heads not marked 'available again soon' is in stock and can be purchased now, without delay to dispatch.

As a Special Offer, all items in the Statuesque Starport and Statuesque Asylum range of pulp figures are available at 10-20% off! Please note, some of the items are currerntly quite low on stock, so if you want to grab them at this price be quick. However, neither range is going out of production and will be restocked in due course, but not during the Special Offer period. We're also down to just two remaining figures in the Pulp Alley range -  Apophis and Sky Pirate Twenty One. In order to clear the remaining stock, I've discounted them further at 52% and 35% off respectively. Unlike the other pulp ranges, the Pulp Alley range will not be restocked. Also, as stated on the Home page, any order placed after 1pm on Monday 21st October will not be posted until Monday 28th October. If there are a lot of orders, it may take me a couple of days to get them posted as well. My apologies for any inconvenience. These offer will run until Sunday 3rd of November, or while stocks last.

Pulp Alley range to be discontinued

I've made the decision that I will no longer be producing or selling the Statuesque Pulp Alley range going forward. As such the entire available range is reduced by 25-44% to clear existing stock. I had initially hoped to take production in house, which is why some figures have been unavailable for a while. However, I have now realised I need to focus my time and resources on new ranges, such as the Left at the Bottom of the Garden figures. Kickstarters really are the only viable way to release figures now, but they take a lot of work and that doesn't leave time for me to properly sort production of the Pulp Alley range. Added to that, the Statuesque Pulp Alley range no longer represents the entirety of the Pulp Alley miniatures line, with Pulp Alley themselves having produced more figures independently. In the beginning, I organised the production of the range, shipping stock out to the US, but now I believe Pulp Alley are producing all the figures in the States. As such, the range will continue to be available through them. I'm proud of the Statuesque Pulp Alley range, but don't have any great attachment to them as they're not my character designs. Without having to worry about restocking (or moulding and casting) the Pulp Alley range I'll be able to concentrate on getting the characters in my head into metal. Please note, some of the figures in the range are already extemely limited so if you're wanting something, best grab them soon!

Left at the Bottom of the Garden Pre-Orders now shipping - order now to get them at this price!

I'm happy to say the Pre-Orders for the Left at the Bottom of the Garden figures are now shipping. However, time is running out to get the toys at the Kickstarter/Pre-Order prices! You have until the 30th of September to grab them at the current prices. I've not decided the final prices yet, but expect a slight increase on certain sets.   If you are a Kickstarter backer, I've now posted all rewards to backers who have paid for postage by completing the Pledge Manager through the Statuesque webshop. There are still a number of backers to complete this; full details can be found HERE, HERE and HERE in the Kickstarter updates. Your toys are ready and waiting to be posted once the postage payment is made. :)   I've been making progress on sculpting the toys for Chapter Two of Left at the Bottom of the Garden. The old woman who lives in the woods is almost finished - just some small details and base texture to go. She has lots of cats and something locked in the woodshed. Keep an eye out on the Statuesque Facebook and Twitter pages for more updates about Chapter Two!

Left at the Bottom of the Garden Pledge Manager and Pre-Order now LIVE!

Hi everyone! I'm happy to say the Left at the Bottom of the Garden Pledge Manager page is now live here on the Statuesque Webshop, along with non-backer Pre-Orders! Please read the information in this update carefully. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. All backers should have received their pledge-value coupon codes in a Kickstarter message from me. ***Fancy Toys backers, please check your messages for full details on how to complete your orders.*** Once your completed webshop orders start coming in, I'm planning to start shipping rewards at the end of June. This will be done roughly in order of both Backer Number and when the webshop order was placed, where possible – i.e. high backer number orders will not be delayed waiting for all earlier backers to complete their orders. You will receive an email once your reward has been shipped. Please remember to check your email spam folder for the posting confirmation email. In order to avoid mistakes I won't be rushing the shipping of rewards, but I'm hopeful to have all rewards posted by the end of July. Anyone who did not back the Kickstarter is also welcome to Pre-Order the toys at this time using the Pledge Manager page. Please note, Pre-Orders will not be dispatched until all Kickstarter rewards have been shipped. Estimated dispatch for Pre-Orders is early-August. To complete your order: Select your desired Rewards/Add Ons from the items on the Kickstarter category page and add them to your basket. Any additional items from the Statuesque Webshop can also be chosen at this time. Enter the coupon code in the box on the Shopping Basket page - see image below. Complete your order through the Checkout to pay for the shipping costs and any additional products you may wish to purchase. Payment is made through Paypal and can be paid by card or Paypal account. Remember to click 'Complete your Order' AFTER the Paypal payment process when you are redirected back to the Statuesque webshop. If you do not click 'Complete your Order' no order will be place and no payment will be taken - see the image below.     Once the process is complete you will see the page in the image below. You will receive an order confirmation from the Statuesque Webshop and a payment confirmation from Paypal.    Please note: The coupon code only applies to items in the 'Kickstarter' category of the shop. The coupon code will not discount shipping costs. The coupon code does not refund 'unspent' pledge amounts. You can purchase any non-Kickstarter item from the Statuesque webshop along with your Rewards/Add Ons, though the coupon code will not apply to these items. Although many of you have completed the Kickstarter Survey to gather address information, please do take care entering your address into the shop system as this will be my primary source for addresses. Remember - do not rely on browser autofill! :) There is a small chance some existing Statuesque products will be restocked during the course of the Pledge Manager. I had hoped to receive a restock before now, but that hasn't happened. If you have already placed your order and an existing item you wanted is restocked before your reward is shipped, just drop me an email and I can send a Paypal invoice for the restocked item. If you have any questions, please to not hesitate to get in touch, either with a Kickstarter message or to statuesquemini at gmail dot com. If you email, please do include your Kickstarter backer name. Thanks! Andrew

Left at the Bottom of the Garden Kickstarter successful!

Hi everyone, I'm very happy to say that the Left at the Bottom of the Garden Kickstarter campaign is now complete and funded. I really enjoyed working on this project - probably more than anything I've done for Statuesque - so its really rewarding to find so many homes for the toys. I doubt I could have chosen a more niche subject! The Kickstarter Pledge Manager page will go live on this website in a couple of weeks time. Anyone who missed the Kickstarter campaign will be able to place pre-orders for the Left at the Bottom of the Garden range at this time. Pre-orders will be posted after the backer rewards are sent, but I'm confident this will happen before the end of August estimated delivery. Please note, I do not expect fulfilment of the Kickstarter to affect regular, day-to-day Statuesque orders. All webstore orders will continue to be dispatched promptly, as customers have come to expect. Many thanks to all backers and to anyone who shared, commented or liked on forums and social media!

Left at the Bottom of the Garden Kickstarter continues!

Hi everyone. The Left at the Bottom of the Garden Kickstarter is still going strong as we enter the final few days. The level of support has been really gratifying and it's great to have so many home for these odd little toys to go to. The support has also encouraged me to continue sculpting for this range - I want to tell the story of Olive, Clementine and their friends as they venture into the woods. So even though we've reach and exceeded the funding target, every pledge really helps and is really appreciated as it will speed up the process of telling that story in a later Kickstarter - no waiting to save money for prints and mastering. As you can see above, I've been painting away to hopefully get the full set painted before the end of the Kickstarter. It's been a fun process trying out new ways of painting (lots of splatter). Now I've just got the hoodie crows to finish! You can see more photos both in the Kickstarter updates and on the Statuesque Facebook and Twitter pages. As always, all shares, comments and likes on social media - along with forum posts and just telling your friends - are much appreciated and really do help. Thanks!

Hi everyone, I'm very pleased to say that Statuesque's first Kickstarter - Left at the Bottom of the Garden - is now live! Amazingly, the campaign is already well past the funding goal after just a few hours. I really had no idea what to expect going into this, but I'm blown away by the response so far. Many thanks to all the backers! In all the excitement, I of course forgot to update the blog here on the website! If these weird little figures seem like something you might be interested, please to take a look at the Kickstarter page. I've also been painting the first of the figures - I hope to have them all done by the end of the campaign. I hope you like them!
